Love the texture to the "Birds 2" - you did an amazing job with sewing the pieces together with different textures.. Love it!
Great use of color and texture very vibrant and expressive! Great use of indigenous technique as well!

Your "Northern Forest" is reminiscent of Emily Carr - Natural, Organic and Transformative.
A BIT ABOUT ME
How and Why I Create
Born in Hungary, I fled my country with my parents during the Hungarian revolution of 1956. I have been painting and drawing since I remember, taking courses where I could. My main inspiration was my aunt, Körtvélyessy Magda, a respected artist in Hungary.
After I came to Canada I became fascinated by the beautiful landscapes and aboriginal art became my new inspiration.

I start my art by simply drawing a line. From this is inspired a new line, and before long, an entire painting is created. Sometimes I have to stop myself before the painting is over-complicated, but I am most inspired when art flows easily and seems to create itself, with my hand as a willing tool.
